Stryde Rescue

What’s stuck?

Something isn’t working the way it should. It might be a website, a system, a vendor, a process, or something that’s costing more than it should. Just tell me what’s going on. I’ll figure out the rest.

Tell me what’s going on

It takes less than a minute.

Send me the problem.

You don’t need to diagnose it. Just tell me what’s broken, stuck, costing too much, or driving you crazy. I’ll read it and get back to you.

01What Fits

What kind of problem?

The common thread is friction you can already feel: something stuck, costing too much, taking too long, or simply not working. It usually lands in one of four lanes.

Fix what’s broken.Replace what isn’t working.Reduce what it’s costing you.

01

Technical Rescue

Fix or untangle the systems, integrations, websites and software the business runs on.

  • Forms and lead routing that drop enquiries
  • CRM, API and integration failures
  • Sites, apps or admin tools that don’t work right
  • Tracking, automations and AI workflows that stall
  • Legacy code and technical work nobody owns

One defined problem, not an open backlog.

02

Design Rescue

Bridge the gap between the brand and the things customers and staff actually use.

  • A rebrand the website and digital assets never caught up with
  • Brand materials that don’t hold up on screens
  • Missing UI or design work holding up a build
  • Assets that need extending into a usable system
  • An experience that looks inconsistent or dated

Concrete gaps, not open-ended branding.

03

Vendor Rescue

Understand what you have, get control back, and move to a better setup safely.

  • A vendor that’s unresponsive, overpriced or gone
  • Taking ownership of your site, accounts and data
  • Migrating off a platform that no longer fits
  • Nobody sure who holds the domain, hosting or logins

Technical and operational transition, not legal or contract work.

04

Cost Rescue

Sometimes nothing is broken. It just costs far more than it should. Find the recurring waste and put a better setup in place.

  • Software subscriptions that overlap
  • Hosting or platforms priced beyond what you need
  • Manual work eating staff hours every week
  • A stack that grew more expensive than the business

Savings depend on what we find. No figure is promised up front.

If it has been sitting on the list because nobody has the time, ownership, or range to deal with it, it’s probably a Rescue. Not sure which lane? Most problems cross more than one.

02How It Works

From stuck to working.

  1. 01 stuck

    Show me the problem

Tell me what’s going wrong, in your own words. You don’t need to diagnose it.

  2. 02 understand

    I find the real cause

I trace it across the systems, vendors and workflows involved. It isn’t always where it showed up.

  3. 03 fix / replace

    I fix or replace it

I implement the agreed change and test it against what should happen.

  4. 04 working

    You get a better setup

I hand back the result, explain what changed, and flag anything else worth knowing.

If the problem turns out to be larger than a Sprint, I’ll tell you before turning it into a bigger engagement.

03Why Stryde

Problems don’t arrive neatly labeled.

A website problem may actually be a vendor problem. A design problem may actually be an implementation problem. An expensive process may actually be a systems problem.

Stryde works across those boundaries to figure out what is actually creating friction, and takes responsibility for getting to a better result. That isn’t a long list of services. It’s the range to follow a problem across disciplines when the problem crosses them.

For about a decade, BJ McDonald has worked across custom software, integrations, websites, design, operational systems and production troubleshooting. You work with him directly.

Got a client problem outside your team’s wheelhouse?

Send it to Stryde.

I can work alongside your team or your client’s, solve the defined problem, document the result, and stay in my lane.

05Where It Starts

Where a Rescue starts.

Starting at$1,250Rescue Sprint · one problem
  • One clearly defined problem
  • An initial review of the problem and what it touches
  • Diagnosis across the systems, vendors or workflows involved
  • Implementation of the agreed fix or change
  • Testing against what should happen
  • A concise handoff: what was wrong, what changed, what to watch

A tightly scoped technical or design problem can often be handled at the $1,250 entry price. Paid up front, once I’ve confirmed fit and scope. Then it goes on the calendar.

When it’s bigger than a Sprint

Vendor transitions, migrations, cost-reduction work and multi-system problems often need a larger Rescue engagement. You’ll know after the initial review, with a scope and price to approve before anything is charged.

If a Sprint uncovers more than expected, I stop and tell you before going further. You keep what I found either way, and there are other ways to work together when it makes sense.

06Questions

Before you send it.

A concrete problem that is already creating friction: something broken, a vendor you need out from under, a design gap holding up the work, or a cost that is higher than it should be. It needs a clear picture of “better”. Leads reach the CRM. The team can update the site without a ticket. You own your domain and hosting. If you can describe what should happen instead, it is probably one Rescue. A list of unrelated issues is a different engagement.

No. Technology is often part of the solution, but the problem may start with a vendor, workflow, operating cost, design gap, or system that no longer fits the business.

That fits when the problem involves the systems, websites, accounts, data, infrastructure or workflows the vendor currently manages. I can inventory the current setup, plan the transition, and implement the technical handoff. I don’t negotiate contracts or give legal advice; this is the technical and operational side of the move.

Sometimes. If technology, vendors, software subscriptions, infrastructure or inefficient workflows are creating unnecessary recurring cost, Rescue can identify practical alternatives and help implement the change. I can’t promise a specific saving before looking, and I’ll tell you if the change isn’t worth making.

I tell you as soon as I know, before going further. Vendor transitions, migrations and cost work often scope larger after the initial review. You get what I found, what fits the Sprint, and a separate scope and price for the rest. Nothing becomes a bigger engagement without your agreement.

Yes. I can work alongside your developer, your agency or your client’s team, inside their codebase, platform and process. The aim is to solve the agreed problem and leave things easier for whoever owns them next.

No. Rescue is implementation-oriented. The goal is to improve the situation, not simply hand over a report. Some larger problems may need a separate phase after the initial Rescue work.

Usually, yes. Most of the work is tracing how systems connect, and that carries across stacks. If something is genuinely outside what I can responsibly fix, I say so when I review the problem, before you pay anything.

Once the scope is confirmed and paid, it goes on the next open day in the calendar. If it’s urgent, say so in the form and I’ll tell you straight away whether I can meet the timing.

One problem. A clear starting price. A better result.
